Opportunity As a Content Producer (Copywriter), you will be responsible for creating engaging and compelling content across various platforms to attract and retain our target audiences.
Your primary focus will be on producing high-quality written content that aligns with our brand narrative and communication and marketing objectives.
You will have the opportunity to, both, generate content ideas and respond to briefed content.
Strong writing and editing skills are essential, along with a keen eye for detail and proficiency in content management systems.
As our Content Producer, you will have a solid understanding of digital marketing principles and SEO best practices.
You will also help in the production of multimedia content, such as helping organise photo shoots and videos.
Excitingly, you will play an important role in shaping our brand's narrative through compelling content and your passion for storytelling.
This opportunity is a full-time 6-month fixed term contract.
This role will be based out of our Melbourne office based in Carlton.
We are also open to this role being based out of our Brisbane or Adelaide offices.
Leukaemia Foundation adopts a hybrid working model, therefore if you have a suitable home workstation you will have the flexibility to work from home two days a week.
We will trust you with: Producing communication of a high standard and meeting the objectives of the piece/project.
Ensuring projects are delivered on brief, on brand and on time.
Increasing brand visibility and awareness through compelling content.
Improving content engagement with the target audience across various channels.
Enhancing conversion rates and lead generation as a result of effective content strategies.
Does this sound like you: Essential: Tertiary qualifications in journalism, communications or a related discipline or at least 2 years two years' relevant experience in a copy-heavy communications role with experience in mission communications, the not-for-profit space or healthcare.
Developed creative writing and copywriting ability with a strong talent for true storytelling.
Exceptional grammar, punctuation, spelling and syntax.
Demonstrated experience in writing effective copy for direct response.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience of SEO and content marketing.
Strong knowledge of rich media production, including photography, videography and audio content.
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, projects and campaigns in a range of channels.
Independent self-starter with the ability to manage own schedule.
Collaborative team player to deliver shared goals.
Desired criteria: Experience using project management tools, such as Asana.
Multimedia production experience.
Knowledge of FIA Code of Conduct/Standards of Fundraising.
Knowledge of the not-for-profit and/or healthcare environment.
