Cloud Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to lead the deployment, operations, and sustainment of a large-scale cloud environment.
In this technical leadership role, you will collaborate with Architecture Teams and Business Units to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures, while ensuring compliance with relevant security and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities include: Serving as the technical lead for cloud architecture, deployment, and operations.Designing, developing, and maintaining secure and cost-effective Azure cloud environments.Troubleshooting and providing advanced technical support for cloud operational incidents.Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including security, network, and application support, to ensure seamless integration and support of cloud services.Implementing cloud innovations and emerging technologies, while ensuring compliance with regulated environments.Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for the cloud environment, including architectural designs and operational procedures.Managing cost control and optimisation for the cloud environment to meet service levels and budget requirements.Skills & Experience: The ideal candidate will have:
Minimum of 5 years of experience with Azure cloud engineering.Professional certification in Azure Solutions Architect Expert.Strong technical understanding of Microsoft Azure infrastructure.Proven experience with Microsoft Entra, M365, Microsoft Well-Architected Framework, and Azure Landing Zones.Expertise in developing and deploying infrastructure and applications as code.Experience with cloud migration and developing cloud-native application architectures.In-depth knowledge of cloud security concepts, including posture management and security baselines for regulated environments.Proficiency in writing PowerShell scripts for automation and management.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.Apply now If you are passionate about cloud innovation and have the technical expertise to drive large-scale, secure, and efficient cloud environments, we'd love to hear from you.
