The Role An exciting opportunity exists for a Float Legal Assistant to join the Sydney office, supporting both transactional and litigation-based teams.
This full-time position is ideal for someone seeking variety and the chance to develop their skills across multiple practice areas.
Key responsibilities include: Answering phone calls and assisting with client inquiries.Managing diaries and coordinating schedules.Dictaphone typing and document preparation.Assisting with billing and financial processes.File management and archiving.Coordinating team meetings and events.Providing general administrative support as needed.The Candidate The ideal candidate will have: At least 1 year of experience as a legal assistant, with exposure to both litigation and transactional practices being highly regarded.Availability to work full-time (part-time arrangements will not be considered).Proficiency in MS Word and document formatting.Excellent communication and diary management skills.Strong attention to detail, a proactive approach, and the ability to meet deadlines.A client-focused mindset and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.This role is particularly suited to students or early-career professionals with at least 2 years of general work experience who are eager to contribute to a dynamic legal team.
