Job Description
Opportunity snapshot
Member of the DevOps team with responsibility for supporting and building cloud platforms as well as CI/CD Pipelines within the Managed Services Space and internal Bluedoor Development Teams.
Role responsibilities
Maintain the existing CI/CD pipeline (Octopus Deploy, TeamCity, git/TFS, PowerShell) Assess and build new capabilities in the cloud hosted environments Design and implement new automation solutions using existing DevOps tools Implementation of new pipelines Implementation/Build of new Cloud Environments Assist in Managing Projects through to completion with the DevOps Manager/Supervisor 2nd level support for DevOps Activities.
Experience
IT degree, or equivalent experience 5+ years experience working in a DevOps /Cloud Engineering/SRE role Solid understanding of DevOps practices and methods Solid understanding tech stack to include: AWS Terraform PowerShell & Bash Windows/Linux Puppet SaltStack Containerization VMWare Databases (Postgres/MSSQL) CI/CD Tools such as TeamCity, Octopus, GitHub Actions Working knowledge of SDLC principles and methodologies A passion for automating manual processes Keen to continuously improve & innovate SS&C Technologies is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer and does not discriminate against any applicant for employment or employee on the basis of race, color, religious creed, gender, age, marital status, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status or any other classification protected by applicable discrimination laws.
