Senior Data Scientist - Award-Winning Fintech ASX Listed Fintech are on the lookout for a driven Senior Data Scientist to join a friendly team of Data Scientists and Data Engineers.

Role
You will report into The Head of Data Science & collaborate with a friendly team of Senior Data Scientists, owning end-to-end of the model lifecycle from ideation to deployment and (if necessary) building and deploying ML.
Be the thought leader in model selection, best engineering practices, and knowledge share with the other Data Scientists in the team.
You will be empowered to build Large Language Models (LLMs) to solve problems & add value to different business areas i.e.
Marketing, Risk, and more.
Build robust models in Python and/or Data Robot for deployment to add value across the business.
You will play an important part in the development of the data science and analytics function through improvements to the tech stack and/or modelling.

Key Skills
Commercial experience working as a Senior Data Scientist Excellent skills in Python (Exceptional Model building skills) Expert in the Python data science stack, e.g., scikit-learn, pandas, numpy, scipy, matplotlib/seaborn Experience consuming and building cloud native solutions Strong skills in stakeholder management Collaborative personality who enjoys working to wider goals Friendly and a sense of humour is also nice to have
The role will require exceptional model building skills including, but not limited to optimal parameter search, feature engineering, model selection, model evaluation, and model deployment.
Bonus Skills
Snowflake or Snowpark Experience building LLM's Finance & Fintech experience AWS or Azure experience is also welcome.
