The role The Modernization Business Development Manager is responsible for the management of key customers in a competitive environment, with a focus on refurbishment projects and solution sales, both by organic sales and new business opportunities.
You will also review the HVAC service industry/market and provide communication on new market strategies and develop new business opportunities to achieve profit targets, through the identification and attraction of new markets and customers.
Key responsibilities Build and cultivate professional working relationships with customers internally and externally to achieve individual goals leading to increased sales, service and customer satisfactionMaintain communication with management regarding market trends, opposition go to market strategies, individual activities and opportunitiesPrepare and conduct presentations to prospective customers to achieve sales growth objectivesIdentifying mechanical HVAC and Controls refurbishment works with providing a turnkey solution from existing service base or new customersDevelop creative solutions whilst meeting the project scope / intent to ensure the best outcome for the customer and projectWork with Account managers to conduct site reviews and audits to provide life cycle solutions for inefficient and aged equipment for the service asset baseDevelop strategic plans to achieve new business targets as directedCarry-out and correlate cost estimates for sales submissions to ensure best price and solution put forwardPreparation of internal documents for sales hand over to project team prior to contract commencementEnsure self-time management to fulfil the needs of individual and priority customersPrepare regular updates of new business development, opportunities and targets for the CRMRequirements: To be successful in this opportunity as a minimum you must have:
Proven capability in a Business Development role or similarSound knowledge and working in the HVAC industry – is mandatoryStrong customer service focusResults oriented individual with a strong attention to detailAbility to communicate professionally & effectively to individuals and large groups alike e.g.
Tender review boards, consultants etcExcellent self-organisation and time management skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to motivate othersDemonstrated success in organising multiple and diverse tasks within a flexible working environmentAbility to develop and deliver presentations e.g.
