You will lead a team of long-term planners, each accountable for the delivery of specific long-term plans, forecasts, budgets and deliver Asset Class Planning to our mining operations.
Responsibilities: Oversee, build and strategize long-term asset budget forecasts that optimise risk while meeting business objectives.Work closely with operations to ensure that the zero-based long-term plans align with the standardised whole of life cost models.Deliver efficiency and standardisation in long-term planning.Liaise with procurement and reliability teams to ensure long-lead items and resources are provisioned and budgeted.Work closely with operations and site short-term planning teams to enable operationalisation of long-term plans, budgets into short-term and shut plans at a quarterly cadence.Analyse the conformance of maintenance execution with maintenance plans to identify improvement opportunities.Integrate the long-term plans for each operation into their respective shutdown calendars.Provide input into the asset performance and planning process regarding Asset Schedule Loss forecasts and optimization.Manage and govern all Maintenance processes including master data change management, SAP governance in Maintenance, coaching of Work Management Processes.What you will need: Tertiary qualifications in engineering and management or an appropriate discipline and/or relevant industry experience.Demonstrable skills and experience with strategic asset management and implementation of leading practice.Drivers Licence - Class C.Whitehaven Coal offers its employees a range of benefits and support systems designed to foster a safe, fulfilling, and growth-oriented work environment.
