Senior Project Manager

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager with a solid background in transport & distribution, particularly within the technology department. The ideal candidate will be adept at delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.Client DetailsOur client is a large-scale player in the transport and distribution sector, with a strong focus on technology. With over 10,000 employees worldwide, they are renowned for their commitment to innovative solutions and maintaining high industry standards in every location including Sydney.DescriptionManage complex projects within the technology department, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.Coordinate with a variety of stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met.Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet goals.Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation.Identify potential risks and devise contingency plans.Ensure all project deliverables are of high quality.Report and escalate issues to management as needed.Manage the relationship with all stakeholders and ensure transparent communication.Responsible for bringing all of the work streams together into a single schedule of work with consolidated reporting back into the program, aligning to the business delivery framework through the execution of the project and being accountable for the 101 PM activity (i.e. governance, schedule, financial management, reporting, risk/issue management, dependency management, etc).ProfileA successful Senior Project Manager should have:A degree in Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field.Proven experience as a Project Manager in the transport and distribution industry.Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.Excellent leadership, decision-making, and organisational skills.Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Job OfferA daily salary of 1000 AUD to 1100 AUD + superannuation.4 days in office.A 6 month temporary position with the possibility of extension based on performance.An inclusive company culture that values diversity and innovation.A chance to work with a team of passionate professionals in Sydney.We invite interested candidates who meet the requirements to apply for this fulfilling role.To apply online, please click the 'Apply' button below.
