We ensure a workplace that encourages growth, flexibility and creativity, as well as a company culture that champions inclusion, diversity and overall employee well-being through programs supported by company leadership.Due an expanding workload across all sectors Amphora Consulting is looking for Graduate Civil & Structural Engineers to join the civil and structural team to work on a variety of interesting and challenging projects.We are a truly diverse team of individuals delivering projects throughout the UK and Ireland for numerous Clients.
Our projects range from new developments in the Built Environment to specialist engineering services.You'll help us to deliver effective and professional services for a range of varied and high profile clients.
While you'll have a great deal of responsibility from day one, we'll give you the chance to take on more as you progress and broaden your skills.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Undertake structural design in a variety of materials including steelwork, concrete, masonry and timberContribute to technical feasibility studies and production of related reportsCarry out preliminary designsProvide technical assistance to the members of the civil and structural engineering teamAssist in the delivery of projects on time and to budgetAssist in design reviews and verification checksUndertake site visits and surveysLiaise with clients, architects, contractors and project stakeholdersCommitment to continued professional development, and the development of new skills beyond the core functionsWE ARE SEEKING THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

As a minimum a Masters degree in Civil or Structural Engineering at 2.1 or above (predicted or attained)Studying, or have studied, an ICE or IStructE accredited coursePossess a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelAn understanding of CAD (Bentley, Autocad, Revit) is desirableStrong numerical skills and excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong interest in and application of digital skills, such as computer coding for design automation and problem solvingEnthusiasm for a career in Civil & Structural |Engineering, underpinned by a knowledge and understanding of our sector and workSkills in the analysis and design of structures are an advantageHave an analytical thought processDemonstrate a creative approach to problem solving, utilising digitally-based solutions where neededThe aptitude to work on your own initiative and be proactivePlanned and organised in your approach to work and meeting deadlinesFlexible to the needs of the business, and changes to project plansCommitted to the successful delivery of projects, meeting the needs of our clients, the development of the team and business as a wholeIt would be an advantage if you have experience or an interest in conservation engineeringA full UK Driving Licence (desirable).A willingness to travel on short trips to overseas jobs if necessaryWHAT WE OFFER YOU:
