E-commerce Assistant
Role Overview
Schedule: 40 hours per week; 8am to 5pm (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Manila Time) Client OverviewJoin a thriving Australian retail business with a decade-long legacy of success across multiple brands.

With a diverse product range including unique gifts, stylish jewelry, trendy accessories, and select apparel items, many sourced directly from international artisans, you'll be part of a dynamic team bringing a curated shopping experience to online customers nationwide.
Job Description
As our E-commerce Assistant, you'll play a pivotal role in launching and managing our online presence, working with an extensive product database of over 15,000 items.
This position offers a unique blend of data analysis, inventory management, and creative content creation.
You'll be instrumental in translating our in-store success to the digital realm, ensuring our products are showcased effectively online.
Your work will directly impact our business growth as we expand into e-commerce, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to see the tangible results of their efforts in a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities
Reporting
Generate weekly KPI reports for each location (10-12 locations) Produce monthly category/subcategory reporting for each location (10-12 locations) Create monthly brand sales reports (approx.
60 brands) Compile monthly financial reports Inventory Control
Generate weekly reorder reports for 2-4 jewelry locations Produce stock reordering reports fortnightly and monthly for about 15 brands Import purchase orders into point of sale system via CSV (approx.
10 per week) Create codes for new products, including tagging, categorization, and price setting Conduct monthly negative inventory reviews Webstore Coordination
Update webstore database with new brands/products Write compelling copy for all new products and brands Harvest, resize, crop, and rename images Upload assets into Shopify Update and manage email database Data Management and Analysis
Manage and analyze sales data from multiple retail locations using Excel Create and maintain inventory management systems, including setting up ordering rules Generate product codes and maintain our extensive product database Prepare and format reports for internal decision-making and external brand partners E-commerce Platform Management
List new products on our e-commerce platform, including writing compelling descriptions Handle image management tasks, from sourcing and editing to uploading on Shopify Contribute to the successful launch and ongoing optimization of our e-commerce website Collaborate with the team to ensure accurate and appealing online product representation Requirements Proficiency in Excel, with a focus on data manipulation and report creation Experience with e-commerce platforms, preferably Shopify Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large datasets efficiently Basic understanding of inventory management principles Excellent written communication skills for crafting engaging product descriptions Familiarity with image editing software Ability to work independently and juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Passion for retail and e-commerce, with a customer-centric mindset Flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of a growing online business Nice to Have Skills
Email marketing - setting up weekly email templates SEO and Google advertising expertise Social media management (manage the posting schedule) Social media advertising experience Additional Notes
