Don't miss out on this opportunity to accelerate your career with a scholarship to the hipages Empower, women in leadership programApplications close Friday 17th January 2025.Empower exists to accelerate the careers of emerging and experienced female leaders by giving them the training, support and network to progress into the next stage of their careers.Why does this program exist?Women are consistently underrepresented in leadership positions with the proportion of women in leadership roles decreasing as levels of leadership increase.
Data from the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) shows that women in Australian companies make up just:22% of CEOs37% of key management personnel42% of managers.In ASX300 companies only 34% board members are women and 25% of boards have no women at all.Our 2024 program achieved remarkable success:100% of participants reported personal and professional growth12.5% of participants secured promotions during the eight month program.Join our 2025 cohort of approximately 14 hipages employees and 7 external participantsAbout hipages GroupIf you haven't heard of hipages before, we're a proud Australian technology company with 200 team members in Australia and another 100 overseas.

hipages is in the initial phase of developing a Reconciliation Action Plan, which we are looking forward to launching shortly.Scholarship detailsWe're offering 7x fully sponsored scholarship positions.What's included in the scholarship?Personal and professional developmentInternational Women's Day event1:1 career development coaching sessionGallup strengths assessmentGallup strengths 1:1 coaching session7x half-day in-person group training sessionsOpportunity to learn from and share experiences and challenges with other emerging and experienced female leadersOpportunity to build a support network.Scholarship eligibility:Must identify asFirst Nations Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander women and/orA female tradieEmpower is a 100% in-person program.
Applicants must be based in Sydney and able to attend half-day sessions at our Sydney CBD office on the following dates:Wednesday, 19th March: Strategies for navigating the challenges female leaders faceFriday, 11th April: Your careerFriday, 16th May: Personal brand and networkingFriday, 18th July: Emotional intelligence and having hard conversationsFriday, 15th August: CommunicationFriday, 12th September: Elevating your leadership presenceFriday, 10th October: Program reflections and presentations.Strong leadership potential with a proven track record of achievements, the ability to inspire others and a commitment to growth.Be new to leadership, or be in a leadership role no higher than middle managementBe able to commit time to attend sessions and engage in cohort discussions about their experiences and challenges as women in leadership.Want to nominate someone for a scholarship?If you know someone who you think would be perfect for our Empower program, we'd love to hear from you.
