To realise our vision, we need a Category Manager to join our team and lead the way in our Home Improvement Category.If you're ready to make a real impact, shape the future of our brand, and delight our Temple & Webster customers with an unparalleled product range, then this role is for you.What we're looking forThe main responsibilities of this role include:Develop and execute category strategies to drive growth and profitability in our Home Improvement area focusing on our bathroom and kitchen categoriesCollaborate with Buying and Planning team to ensure successful private label rangeContribute to category budget setting and act quickly to pursue revenue and profit opportunitiesConduct comprehensive market research to understand consumer preferences and engage top suppliersIdentify and onboard new suppliers and listings to enhance the product catalogIndependently conduct meetings with suppliers and internal stakeholdersBuild strong, commercial supplier relationships and implement account management plansContribute to internal and cross-departmental projectsConduct regular reviews with internal teams to ensure operational compliance and customer satisfactionDrive sales and margin through competitive and data-driven catalogue pricing, collaborating with creative and marketing teams for effective product promotionWhat you already haveDegree or diploma in a relevant discipline3+ years experience in account management, category management, eCommerce or buyingDeep industry knowledgeAbility to negotiate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve strong business resultsInterest and experience in analysis of sales and dataHigh proficiency in Microsoft Excel and analytical toolsAdditional benefitsAmazing cultureCompetitive salaryGenerous employee discounts across our entire rangeFlexible working arrangementsPaid leave on your birthdayPaid parental leaveCatered lunch 3 days a weekSubsidised breakfast dailyFree mindfulness practice dailyRegular celebrations and team socialsOpportunities to volunteer with our charity partner
