Emesent is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Test and Quality Manager to own and lead our product testing and quality programs and take them to the next level.
In this pivotal role, you'll drive the excellence of our cutting-edge solutions, ensuring they deliver unmatched quality, reliability, and an exceptional customer experience.
Leading a talented team of testers, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to surpass company standards.
Your proactive approach will uncover and leverage opportunities for improvement, driving innovation in our processes.
Here's what you'll do Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans for both hardware and software products, and execute innovative hands-on programs to stress test, evaluate, and enhance the quality of experience in customer-like environments.Lead, mentor, and manage a team of testers, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.Supervise the execution of manual and automated test plans, ensuring thorough coverage and accurate results.Support system characterization and benchmarking activities to ensure optimal product performance.Collaborate with product and engineering teams in product design, development, and defining testing, verification, and validation for release sign-offs.Analyse and characterise customer problems, implement corrective actions, and provide recommendations for quality improvement.Establish and maintain relationships with industry partners and customers for field testing campaigns and gather feedback to ensure product excellence.Ensure all products meet the company's quality standards and regulatory requirements through best testing practices and quality assurance processes.Manage Emesent's Quality Management System and ISO-related activities.Continuously enhance testing processes, tools, and methodologies by staying updated with industry trends and driving innovation to improve product quality and reduce time to market.How you'll Succeed Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years in test engineering (software and hardware), with at least 3 years in a managerial role.Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices for both hardware and software.Proficient in translating complex performance requirements into practical tests.Proven success in delivering high-quality products to market.Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Enthusiastic about new technologies and customer satisfaction.Ideal Skills / Experience : Experience in a tech company or related industry.Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance for hardware and software products.Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) is a plus.Expertise in reliability & robustness, including DFMEA, DVP&R, DOE, root cause analysis, and data analytics.System engineering experience.The added perks Get a competitive remuneration package + superannuation.Participate in our employee share option scheme (Equity).Work alongside a friendly and passionate team on cutting edge technologyTake up our genuine learning and development opportunities.Settle into our great work environment and facilities.Work in comfort with a casual dress code.1 full day of leave, each year for work anniversariesWho are we?
