We represent over 1,100 diverse sporting, recreation and culture clubs, including RSL, bowls, golf, and leagues clubs.

About the role
We are seeking a Compliance Assurance Lead to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering compliance assurance checks, training, and guidance to our member clubs throughout NSW.
Your main objective will be to ensure member clubs are meeting the latest regulatory requirements while continuously improving the services we provide.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for compliance, a detail-oriented mindset, and an ability to build strong relationships with our members.

Key responsibilities
Compliance Assurance Delivery:
Deliver compliance assurance and responsible gambling checks to member clubs across NSW.
Investigate opportunities to enhance compliance assurance services.
Guidance and Training:
Provide high-level advice to ClubsNSW members on complex compliance issues.
Deliver compliance and responsible gambling training packages to members.
Maintain up-to-date training courses in various formats (online, in-person, and correspondence).
Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare compliance reports, articles, and guidance for members.
Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality assurance reports.
Improve training materials and compliance services based on feedback and compliance outcomes.
About you
Previous experience in a club, pub, casino or relevant regulator – highly desirable Proven experience in compliance assurance, risk management, or regulatory compliance (preferably in a relevant industry).
Strong understanding of responsible gambling regulations.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deliver complex training material effectively.
Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to create reports and deliver constructive feedback.
Ability to adapt and engage with stakeholders at various levels of seniority.
Valid driver's licence.
