The Enterprise Architect will provide specialist coverage for Cyber Security including staff identity and be responsible for defining enterprise and domain architectures, which are part of the Group-wide architecture, and ensuring that solution architectures and designs are aligned and consistent.
What you'll doMaintain a broad understanding of business and technology capabilities across the group, ensuring alignment between IT strategy and business strategyProvide strategic guidance and prepare architecture standards and roadmaps to ensure consistent and accurate enterprise architectureEngage in early and ongoing strategic initiatives, providing consultancy to stakeholders and ensuring alignment with architectural principlesLead architecture process improvement initiatives and promote consistent architectural practices across the groupAssess portfolio work to ensure alignment with business strategy, identify overlaps and gaps, and make recommendations for rationalization and reuseEngage with technology vendors, conduct product evaluations, and stay informed on market trends to educate business representatives and advance the group's technology capabilitiesWhat you'll bringTertiary or postgraduate qualification in Information Technology, Cyber Security, or related disciplines, or equivalent experienceArchitectural certification such as TOGAF, SABSA, Open CA, or others, is expected, with industry certifications like CISA, CISM, CISSP, or GIAC being highly desiredA minimum of 10 years of experience in Information Technology and/or Cyber Security, with at least 5 years in IT Architecture and/or Security Architecture demonstrating solution design and delivery principlesStrong knowledge of relevant industry and regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST, E8, CPS234, IEC 64223) is highly desiredExperience with secure Cloud deployment and secure development best practices, as well as Agile and Lean methodologies, is highly desiredFamiliarity with architecture modelling notation (ArchiMate) or modelling tools such as BizzDesign Horizzon, and having a consulting background, is advantageousWhat we can offerA range of flexible working and leave options, including 20 weeks paid parental leave, 4 weeks paid secondary carer parental leave and unlimited paid emergency response leaveDiscounts and offers on a range of retail favourite stores as well as insurance productsGive back to our communities with payroll giving, donation matching and paid volunteer leaveInvest in your brighter future with ongoing study support and career development programsPrioritise your work/life balance with our robust employee assistance program and dedicated employee councilAt Suncorp we believe we are our best when our workforce is as diverse, talented and passionate as the communities in which we live and operate, and where our people feel included, valued and connected.
