Georgiou has recently been awarded a number of major Western Australian infrastructure projects and as such are seeking to appoint an experienced Community & Stakeholder Manager.
Working closely with the Project and Construction Managers, this role is based at the relevant project office and offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a collaborative, innovative team that is helping to transform metropolitan infrastructure well into the future.

You will work as an integral member of the Relationships Team and will:Develop and implement consultation strategy and activities to ensure the local community and key stakeholders are well informed at all times and engaged in key project decisions.Liaise directly with local residents, businesses and stakeholders to identify and investigate community concerns and issues and contribute to their effective managementBuild strong relationships with local residents, businesses and key stakeholdersRaise community awareness of the project's progress and success by contributing to the development of project publications, advertising and websiteCoordinate events and provide administrative support to the teamKey competencies for the position include:A minimum of 7 years+ experience in a similar roleExperience assisting in the delivery of a communication and branding development strategyPrevious Public Relations and community engagement experienceProven ability in active listening, negotiation and conflict managementOutstanding organisational and communication skillsHold an IAP2 qualificationWork with the project team members to ensure stakeholders' needs are considered throughout the project.Co-ordinate communications and engagement activities including communication campaigns to support traffic changes, door-knocks, community information displays, briefings and meetings.Plan and prepare communication materials including works notifications, project updates/newsletters, and correspondence materials.With Georgiou you will receive strong support and ample opportunity to allow you to achieve your career goals.
