In Australia we have 38 stores across the country, and we are expanding.The OpportunityThis role will drive sales and profitability through exceptional customer service and inventory management.
Key responsibilities include analysing profit and loss reports, controlling costs, ensuring appropriate staffing levels, and maintaining high standards on the sales floor.
The role also involves training employees, handling safety measures, and adhering to company policies.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive sales and profitability through genuine and high standard customer service and inventory management.Provide instructions and guidance to maintain the sales floor in the high company standards, and appropriately assign employees to tasks.Analyse profit and loss report with the Area Manager to create an action plan.Control costs to achieve store's sales and budget KPIs.Recruitment activities including shortlisting and interviews to gain new store staff who meet company requirements.Ensure appropriate staff levels in every area of operations, and create the staffing plan and roster schedule for store members while ensuring compliance with GIRA rules.Ensure that employees are trained according to the company standards.Handle safety and crime-prevention measures according to the rules.About YouMinimum 1-3 years of experience in store manager or supervisor experience in the retail industry.New store opening experience is preferred.Minimum 1 year of alteration experience, with stitches up to standards and handled in a timely manner is preferred.2 years of loss prevention experience, with knowledge of safety and crime-prevention measures.Proven ability to drive sales and deliver excellent customer service.Experience in training employees to meet company standards.Strong leadership skills to guide and assign tasks to employees.Experience in staffing, scheduling, and creating staff rosters.Excellent organisational and time management skills.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.Demonstrated ability to think logically and problem solve.Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, public holidays, and weekends.Willing to move to other areas or stores if requested by the company.Global viewpoint and cultural sensitivity & flexibility are a must.What's in it for You?Generous employee discount.Full-time permanent position with bonus incentives.Structured retail management training that prepares you to run your own store independently.Develop confidence and skills to lead a team of 70-200+ team members.Opportunities to open new stores nationally.Work closely with inspiring business leaders and our talented and diverse teams.Opportunities to travel to our Global Convention in Japan.For more information about Fast Retailing / UNIQLO, please visit our website at www.fastretailing.com/employment/en/.UNIQLO is an equal opportunity employer.
