Rabobank's Global Service Centre Financial Markets Services Asia Pacific Hub, located in Sydney, is a critical team within the Global Service Centre (GSC) organisation.
The hub provides comprehensive Operational support to the Asia Pacific-based Markets & Treasury businesses, encompassing Trading, Funding, & Corporate Sales products.
Additionally, it offers direct client support to Rabobank's Rural, Corporate, & Financial Institution clients, ensuring seamless & reliable service delivery to the region.
We currently have 2 x vacancies for an Officer, Financial Markets Services (FMS), Asia Pacific to be based in Sydney.
As Officer you will be a primary point of contact for issue resolution & client contact which requires a thorough understanding of global & regional market practices, international regulations, & systems.
The team works Monday to Friday from 12:30pm to 9pm so you must be willing & able to work these hours.
As we have a hybrid work environment, you will work a mix of days in the office & days from home. Top Role Accountabilities: Provide an exceptionally high quality of internal & external client service, developing solid relationships with Markets & Treasury, external clients & stakeholders.Deliver a high standard of accuracy, completeness & reliability with end-to-end transaction processes in relation to the lifecycle of a broad range of Financial Markets products.Timely & accurate settlement (cash, custody & clearing) within payments systems & market infrastructure.Dispatch, Match, Chase & Escalate confirmations & market instructions to meet regulatory timelines.Investigate, resolve & escalate reconciliation breaks with regards to transactions, systems, data, cash & securities.Prepare daily & periodic reports to be submitted to internal stakeholders.Management of Through Put Ratio, intraday liquidity, cash reporting & funding across all Asia Pacific external & internal accounts and head office accounts for Asia Pacific currencies, including use of Repurchase Agreements to meet obligations.To be successful, you will have: A minimum of 4 years' experience in a Treasury / Markets Operations & liquidity management role with experience in payments, settlements, confirmations, reporting & reconciliations.Experience communicating with external clients.Knowledge of financial market instruments & products including, Foreign Exchange, Money Market, Fixed Income, Commodities, Interest Rate Derivatives, Options & Futures.Sound knowledge of settlements & payments systems such as Murex, Calypso, SWIFT, Exigo, RITS, eMBT, CMU & Euroclear.Good knowledge of SWIFT payment messaging such as MT103 / 202 & pacs.008 / pas.009.An ability to plan & prioritise to meet strict deadlines.Excellent attention to detail & an ability to work to a high level of accuracy.An ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders & clients / relationship management.Previous experience supporting countries within Asia Pacific preferable.Mandarin, Cantonese or other Asian language skills highly regarded.Knowledge of Asia Pacific (Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Korea, Mainland China) markets, systems & regulations is an advantage.What we're proud to offer you: Wellbeing leave: These 2 extra leave days support greater work/life balance & is just another way we are helping our employees to lead happier, healthier, & more fulfilling lives.Education Assistance Program: Rabobank values the development of its people & has a great Education Assistance Program to assist with professional development.Parental Leave: that supports you & your family while giving you the freedom & flexibility to enjoy this special time (up-to 14 weeks paid leave).Bonus and Additional Leave: We realise sometimes 4 weeks Annual Leave isn't enough
