So join our team and build your careers with usTechnical ManagerThis role is responsible for the management of the Technical & Laboratory function of the asphalt business for SA and WA.
This role can be based in either Adelaide or Perth.Your primary focus in this role is to ensure product quality and compliance of products and the ongoing management of the laboratory operation.Your day will involve:Managing the laboratory teams to ensure all inspection and testing requirements are metMonitoring all raw constituent materials and liaising with suppliers around requirementsDevelopment of asphalt mix designs and assessment of spray seal designs as requiredActive engagement and collaboration with internal teams to provide technical support and assist optimizing outcomes for all stakeholdersStrong daily focus on safety, quality, cost & delivery aspectsWhat are we looking for?Minimum of 10 years technical and/or laboratory experience in the road construction industry, preferably asphaltTertiary qualification in engineering or relevant field (desirable)Laboratory Management (Diploma in Laboratory Skills) qualifications and capability to manage certification requirements (ie.
