Our engineers, developers, radar experts, technicians and project managers provide a full suite of products and services ranging from co-design to commercialisation, deployment, and system support.
We are currently hiring software engineers of all levels, whether you are just starting in your career or looking to develop your skills and take on new responsibilities.
As a valuable member of our high performing team, you will apply your experience to ensure effective software engineering is applied to our projects, product development and service delivery.
You will have the opportunity to work on software and systems ranging from web-based user interfaces for our man-portable radars, signal processing algorithms running on GPUs, and control software that automates operation of our space surveillance radars.
Your Responsibilities Develop critical software components, services and applications for our passive radars and supporting subsystemsMaintain software baselines, perform code reviews, and ensure proper change control processes are followedEnsure the stability and reliability of software releases through automated unit and regression testingAssist in planning, estimation, and design activitiesWrite high-level design, interface, and test documentationParticipate in trials, product demonstrations and field supportSupervise and mentor junior engineersInteract with customers and other stakeholders as a subject matter expertAbout You Overall, you're an ideas person and problem solver as well as a hands-on doer – that's important.

You must have : Bachelor's degree in engineering or another relevant technical subject2 years work experience as a Software Engineer (multiple levels available)Experience with the various aspects of the software development lifecycle (needs analysis, requirements, design, implementation, testing, support)The ability to work both independently and within a teamGood technical communication skills, written and verbalExcellent time management skills and the ability to reliably estimate task effortClearances As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
