Physical Education Specialist Teacher

Role Description/CriteriaThis full-time, ongoing teaching position will commence on 28 January 2025.We are seeking a creative, passionate, knowledgeable, and skilled physical education specialist/classroom teacher.
Applicants will possess the skills and abilities necessary to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience through a collaborative approach to learning and teaching.
Desired applicants will have the knowledge and capacity to build high-quality learning and teaching programs that meet the needs of all students and are linked to evidence-based practice.
Experience in a physical education specialist role and/or managing whole school sporting events is also preferred.The successful applicant will:have a commitment to the philosophy of Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of all childrenpossess the qualifications, skills, and abilities necessary to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experiencehave an understanding of and a commitment to the Science of Learningbe prepared to be involved in extracurricular school activitieshave accreditation to teach or lead Religious Education in a Catholic School or a commitment to obtain accreditationhave a Victorian Institute of Teaching RegistrationIn addition, successful applicants will be expected to:Commit to the Catholic Ethos, the principles of Catholic teaching, and living the school's visionCommit to the Nazareth Child Safe Policy & the Staff Code of ConductCommit to ongoing professional learning and the continuing development of a positive school cultureHave a capacity to promote contemporary and innovative practiceHave an ability to communicate positively and effectively with all stakeholders in the school community and have high expectations for all studentsGather, analyse and use student data to drive learning and teaching and inform best practiceApplication ProcedureApplicants should send a copy of their resume and a cover letter responding to the role description via email to ******
