The RoleReporting to the Supply Chain Planning Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring service and stock level optimisation for our Regional Fulfilment Centres and Specialist Businesses.
What You Will DoPerform forecast reviews, monitor service levels, reduce stock outs, manage overstocks, and conduct price point analysis on targeted lines to improve buying opportunities.Analyse, interpret, and make tactical decisions to optimise inventory.Manage the placement of purchase orders and all necessary follow-up activities to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment.Achieve smooth and consistent supply of products by:Building strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Enhancing buying opportunities in conjunction with our Category Team.Support ranging decisions and manage product life cycles effectively.How Can I Tell If This Role is For Me?Hold a tertiary qualification in Commerce, Supply Chain, or Logistics.Have experience in inventory management, purchasing, or planning.Possess intermediate to advanced skills in Excel and MS Office.Experience with Infor M3, Slim4, or other Inventory Management Systems is desirable.Have an eye for detail and highly organised.Exhibit strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels, especially with our front-line staff.Demonstrate the ability to manage time effectively.Thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment whilst enhancing and innovating our processes.Industry and product knowledge is highly regarded.What's In It For You?Ongoing Learning & Development to fast track your career – Beyond a comprehensive onboarding program, you'll have access to LinkedIn Learning, Accredited Training Qualifications & Professional Development Support.Diversity & Inclusion – We embrace diversity and encourage everyone to bring their authentic selves to work.Take paid leave to volunteer in your Community – Give back to your community, with one paid day per year to volunteer with a registered charity organisation of your choice.Your Values, Our Heritage – we opened our doors in 1886 but we have moved at the speed of light to keep up with the changing needs of our Customers and Employees.Sustainability for future generations - We're committed to making a positive impact on the planet.
