About the role: Joining a small team of motivated finance and administration professionals, this permanent full-time position will be a key part of this dynamic area of the business.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller and working within a fast-paced environment, the primary focus of this role will be to contribute to the success, growth, and profitability through coordination and management of accounting and finance records.
Key responsibilities: Responsibility for the daily finance functionOversee and deliver financial and management reporting, including budgets, as requiredDirect and oversee pricing and cost analysis activities, including other ad-hoc projectsLiaise with company-appointed auditors and address audit requirementsCash forecastingMonth-end accrual management and distribution of department cost reportsDirect and oversee the efficient daily functioning, prioritization of tasks, and projects of the Administration teamDirect and oversee the efficient functioning and improvement of IT infrastructure and softwareOversee general and IT projects for security, risk-reduction, back-up, and compliance activities, as well as cyber securityFacilitate and promote continuous improvement of processes and procedures and investigate areas where automation can be implementedManage the performance of direct reports providing positive and constructive feedback, and as required, manage poor performance per company policyWork to establish management practices that promote employees' positive engagement and provide opportunities for their constructive input, action, and ownership of activitiesCandidates require: Aligned Tertiary qualification (CA/CPA preferred)5+ years relevant industry experienceDemonstrated ability with interpersonal, leadership, negotiation, and motivation skillsAdvanced knowledge of finance packages and ExcelAbility to prioritize and use initiativeFlexibility to work additional hours, when requiredDemonstrated analytical skillsExcellent English verbal and written communication skillsTo submit your application, please email your updated CV accompanied by a cover letter using the 'apply for this job' button.
