Exciting 12 month contract managing a IT Service Desk team for a Government Organisation
$80 an hour + Super
Your new company
This Government Organisation is based in Blacktown and is looking for an experienced IT Service Management leader to join the business in a contract that will run till January 2026. In this role you will manage a team of 7. This role will be based in the office full time.
Your new role
As IT Service Management Senior Coordinator, you will be responsible for the daily management of the service desk team. You will be the point of contact for escalations, projects and change processes including:
Incident managementMaintaining process documentationInternal and external auditsManaging complex VIP issuesLearning and growth within IT service desk teamWhat you'll need to succeed Successfully managed a service desk team previouslyBe a hands on and lead from the front leaderHold ITIL V3 foundationDemonstrated experience coordinating Information Technology governance and assurance activitiesExperience working in a windows environmentExperience working on change and projectsIn-depth experience implementing and managing ITSM processes in a similar organisationHold a Current class C driver's licenceUnderstanding of Microsoft operating systems, routing and telecommunications, enterprise storage systems, data centre operations and cloud systems.Be an Australian permanent resident or Australian CitizenWhat you'll get in return
$80 an hour + Super
