We are a certified member of the Climate Active Network, a group of organisations and businesses leading voluntary action on climate change through obtaining carbon neutrality.Primary Responsibilities:Provide specialist advice and guidance to the claims team on rehabilitation factors and services.Deliver high quality rehabilitation advice and service to our external customers.Ensure consistent, sound decisions regarding rehabilitation strategies and services.Proactively manage external rehab programs and rehabilitation providers to ensure an appropriate rehabilitation strategy is in place and delivery of service is of high standard.Adhere to internal rehabilitation Service Level Agreements (SLA's).Work within a team environment including internal and external stakeholders – Consulting Medical Officers (CMO) and Reinsurance partners.As a ClearView Employee, you will also:Promote ClearView as a positive force for our customers, advisers, staff, environment and the community by being aware of the Environment, Social and Community impact our day to day operation and decision making implies, and have plans in place to improve them.Comply with ClearView's policies related to the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA), the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC) and Trade Practices.Take ClearView's Work, Health and Safety (WHS) obligations seriously. All employees must follow policies which are located on our intranet Connect.Key Relationships:Life Insurance operational teams – Life Operations staff including policy administration and call centre.Risk and Compliance Trustees.Advisers and their administration staff.ClearView policyholders.External Legal Firms.Third Party providers – CMO, Rehab Providers, Medical and Allied Health professionals.Required Qualifications:Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy, Rehabilitation Counselling, Exercise Physiology, Psychology or related allied health field.Current registration (AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC or RCAA) desired but not essential. Cert IV in Life Insurance.Required Skills:Experience managing Life Insurance claims either at an insurer or at a rehabilitation provider.Knowledge and ability to provide rehabilitation guidance across a variety of health conditions including cancer, musculoskeletal, mental health etc.Knowledge of relevant legislation and governing principles within Life Insurance.Understanding and ability to apply Rehabilitation strategies and services across the RTW hierarchy including same employer, new employer and specific wellness related services.Understanding of TPD and the usage of rehabilitation services to assist with claims management.Strong written and verbal communicator who can build rapport, display empathy, and manage ongoing expectations in a clear manner.Strong strategic thinking, analytical and problem solving skills.Ability to effectively influence, communicate and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships.Why us?ClearView is an innovative culture where ideas are welcomed, and results are recognised.
