Woods & Co Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading manufacturer in the lighting industry, seeking an experienced and motivated Production Manager.
Based in Epping, this thriving business has a close-knit team of 15 and is looking for a hands-on leader to oversee and optimise their production and assembly operations.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company and play a pivotal role in managing multiple projects and driving process improvements.
What's in it for you? $100,000 - $120,000 + Super (depending on experience)Northern suburbs location – EppingOpportunity to lead a high-performing team in a growing industryHands-on role with career progression opportunitiesWork-life balance with stable, full-time hours (7 am - 3:30 pm)What do you do? Lead and manage a team of 4–8 in the warehouse, overseeing the manufacture and assembly of light fittingsJuggle multiple projects ensuring timelines and quality standards are metManage stock control and inventoryOperate and maintain CNC machines to ensure production efficiencyOversee warehouse operations with a hands-on approachImplement production schedules, coordinate tasks, and optimise workflowsEnsure adherence to company policies, safety standards and OH&S regulationsProvide regular updates to senior management and contribute to strategic planningWhat do you need? Previous experience in a Production Manager or similar roleExperience in the lighting or electrical industry is highly regardedKnowledge of Salesforce or similar systemsForklift licenseStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyHands-on experience in warehouse operations and team coordinationProblem-solving and critical-thinking skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAttention to detail and a proactive mindset
