Start date: Early Dec (Flexible for the right candidate) Contract length: Long Term/Permanent Pay: $40 per hour plus super and leave etc (Employed on a contract) A professional family in Balmain East, Sydney are seeking a reliable, active and kind nanny to assist in the care of their 1 year old boy.
The family will also welcome a new baby at the end of March next year (At that time there will be some assistance needed with the newborn – maybe caring for whilst the Mum showers/nap, but no need to be taking out & about).
The normal days are: 5 days per week – 30 hours per week Monday – Friday 10am – 4pm An ideal nanny would be warm, caring and responsive.
A nanny that is also friendly, happy and interested to actively engage and be imaginative, providing indoor and outdoor activities with the child which will aid in his growth and development.
The family is looking for someone who is communicative, organised, trustworthy, responsible and reliable and is able to care for the little boy throughout the day and form a lovely bond with the whole family.
Prior experience/professional qualifications working with children under 2 years of age is highly advantageous for this role.
The carers responsibilities for this role will be as follows: To care for the childFollow the child's routinePlay and engage age appropriate activities to assist in the child's developmentTake the child out for activities, walks/to the park/playground/museums etcLight household chores…laundry, picking up groceries as requested, dropping off/picking up dry cleaning & other ad-hoc tasks.
The child is the priority however & these should fit around him.Meal prep for dinner (on some days only) & prep of food for the child required.The family's expectations from their nanny are: 5+ years of experience as a nanny or working in child careChildcare qualifications preferredHave a current first aid certificateHave a current Working With Children's CheckDisplay strong communication skills and speaks EnglishNon smokingUp to date with all vaccinationsFull drivers license and own car (preferred but not essential) #J-18808-Ljbffr
