Your opportunity As a Manager, Cyber Security Identity, you will be responsible for building a dynamic, strategic and highly capable team that will manage all aspects of identity within Energy Queensland, including platform support, identity risk management and identity operations supporting and appropriately securing identities across the organisation.
A key component of the role will be leading change and overseeing the implementation of the organisation's identity strategy including the deployment of new identity capabilities and implementing robust and secure practices for identity management.
This is a new role within our organisation and you will have the opportunity to influence the standards for a forward-looking security function in a rapidly changing and exciting environment.
This role can be based at any one of our major EQL locations including Brisbane, Toowoomba, Maryborough, Rockhampton, Mackay, Townsville, or Cairns.
The remuneration for your new role is from $223k plus 14.75% super for a 10-day fortnight.

You are also a curious, strategic, forward-thinking leader with a mindset that embraces and promotes change.
Specifically, we are looking for:
Demonstrated knowledge of identity cyber security technologies including, though not limited to: Entra ID, Entra ID B2C, SailPoint's Identity Security Cloud and CyberArk's Privileged Cloud.Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary digital issues, including the ability to lead, manage and deliver security services in a complex and dynamic business environment.Demonstrated domain knowledge of Mobility, Telecommunications Cyber Security and End User Computing, Enterprise Mobility and Web with broad cybersecurity experience gained within a large complex working environment.Demonstrated domain knowledge of Cyber Security primarily governance and risk models and defining security strategy, and associated policies, aligned to the strategic priorities of complex multi-faceted organisations.Demonstrated ability to establish a vision for a security operations function and successfully implement it with measurable outcomes.Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, AESCSF and NIST.Proven ability to effectively prioritise, manage, maintain and coordinate the assignment of work from a Backlog within a security and IT engineering context.Significant demonstrated ability to contribute to building effective contractual arrangements that support the effective working relationship between internal and external service providers in the life cycle management of customer facing services.Demonstrable customer service and collaborative skills commensurate for the successful implementation and ongoing support of Identity Services within a large complex organisation.Most importantly, you strongly align with our values: We're Safe – We Belong – We Grow – We Deliver.
