Job DescriptionWe currently have an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Team Lead to join our In-Life team.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading, managing and setting the technical direction for a team of software engineers to design, craft, and maintain high quality software products and solutions that support our business operations and engage our users.
You will work closely with cross-functional, agile teams to identify and prioritise technical solutions and product features that delight our customers and our internal users.
You will help to drive and deliver the continued development of those technical solutions from concept to launch.
ResponsibilitiesSupporting the team to plan and prioritise work in agile SprintsSupport and contribute to software architecture and solution designCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritise technical solutionsLead and assist with planning the development of technical solutions from concept to launchEnsuring the team's SLOs are being monitored and metMentor and coach a team of software engineersStay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologiesQualificationsRequirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field7+ years of professional experience in software development2+ years in a technology focused leadership role where you have been directly responsible for the activities of other engineers, including their growth and developmentStrong software architecture and solution design skillsExperience with Azure Cloud ServicesExperience with event-driven microservice architecturesExperience with agile software development methodologies (e.g.
