We are currently seeking a Psychologist / Accredited Mental Health Social Worker / Counsellor within employee positions for 2-3 days in our Maitland and Cessnock offices, with an immediate start.
If you would like to belong to a supportive, relaxed team environment, send us your resume and CV to (insert email), or call us to find out more about the position at 4018 7556.Qualifications & ExperienceESSENTIALRegistered with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency / Psychologist / Australian Association of Social Work / a clinical member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation Australia / Level 3 or 4 member of the Australian Counselling AssociationMedicare registeredHave met CPD requirementsCommitment to providing evidence-based psychological therapies such as EMDR, CBT, and DBTKnowledge and ResponsibilitiesDisplay initiative and confidence to work independentlyAbility to cope with emotionally demanding situationsHigh level of interpersonal skillsExperience working in clinical counselling roles and with vulnerable peopleProvide 1-1 therapy to individuals, couples, and family therapy to improve psychosocial wellbeing and functioningProvide office-based, telehealth, and video health support through counsellingProvide a high level of professional evidence-based clinical counselling through assessment, intervention, and reviewDocument and upload relevant information on client's recordsMaintain activity records for monitoring and evaluationMaintain professional networks with the broader community, partners, and other sectorsAdhere to APS / AASW ethical guidelines / PACFA / ACAParticipate in the provision of external and group supervision sessions regularlyEstablish and maintain working relationships with co-workers, clients, and external agenciesDevelop and maintain positive and effective working relationships with a broader range of people and organisationsWork in a person-centered approach, psychosocial, and other therapeutic prevention strategiesComply with and contribute to the ongoing development of PSC business framework and quality assuranceParticipate in service review and evaluation activities, training, and research which lead to service improvementsParticipate in team meetings, training and planning activities, supervision, file auditing, performance management, etc.Participate in professional development activities and maintain knowledge and skills required to fulfill the responsibilities of the positionPositively represent PSC services to the public, community, and other organisations#J-18808-Ljbffr
