Randstad Recruitment is currently looking for a Mechanical Fitter to work in the Perth CBD at our client who is Western Australia's longest serving hospital.
Location: Perth CBD
Hours: Monday - Friday, 38 hours/week
Pay rate: $57.52
Duration: 3 months with possibility for extension
Duties: Provide technical support for the full range of rehabilitation technology services, including:
Cushion systems, seating adaptations and other methods required for pressure management and the prevention and treatment of pressure injuries.
Specialised seating systems and adaptations to wheelchairs and other bases, required for postural support, comfort and the improved function of the patient.
Services related to the specification, manufacture, modification, adaptation and maintenance of wheelchairs and other mobility systems required for functional independence and carer support.
Adaptation of a range of technologies to provide an integrated and optimal solution to the overall equipment needs of the patient in accordance with accepted skills, allocated service responsibility, the procedures and methodologies accepted for use by the Rehabilitation Engineering Service or as otherwise directed.
