With over 3,000 employees and volunteers, we operate in more than 200 locations, supporting tens of thousands of people annually across various Directorates.The Role:As part of the Community Services Support Team, Rostering Officers play a vital role in providing centralized rostering support for our community-based and in-home programs. We prioritize collaboration with service delivery staff to achieve outcomes centered around our clients. These full-time fixed-term - 12 month positions are based out of our Stones Corner office, with opportunities for remote work after thorough training. The primary purpose of the Rostering Officer role is to ensure reliable service delivery to clients through the effective deployment of our most critical resource—our people. You will help Centacare continue to provide person-centered support to older individuals and younger people with disabilities, assisting them in maintaining their lifestyles in line with our Mission, Vision, and Values.Key Duties:Respond to roster requests within designated timeframes, addressing urgent requests promptly.Fill shifts promptly to minimize client disruption and maximize cost efficiency.Manage staff queries regarding rosters and communicate changes effectively.Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including run sheets, case notes, and rosters.Proactively plan upcoming roster activities.Adhere to business procedures and WH&S policies, promoting a safe working environment.Skills and Experience:Must hold a NDIS Workers Screening Card (commonly known as Yellow Card).Must hold a Working with Children Check (commonly known as Blue Card).Must hold a current police check no older than 6 months.High level of resilience, flexibility, and exceptional interpersonal communication skills.Strong ability to prioritize tasks and think on your feet.Initiative and discipline in managing your workload, with a commitment to a solutions-focused approach.Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office.Familiarity with Client Information Management Systems such as AlayaCare.Why Work with Us?This is a unique opportunity to work for a values-based organisation and develop your skills at one of the largest employers in Queensland.
