About us:Based in South Yarra, Village Roadshow Pty Ltd is a leading media and entertainment company operating its core businesses in Cinema, Film, TV and Digital Distribution and Theme Parks.
About the role:This is an exciting opportunity to join the Group IT Team as a DevOps Engineer.
Reporting to the DevOps Team Lead, as a cloud specialist you will maintain and transform our current platform to ensure efficiencies and effectiveness.
Key responsibilities may include: Build, deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure in Azure and AWS;Identify opportunities where automation can be used to enable efficiency and drive down costs;Look at existing processes and implement Continuous Improvement opportunities where possible;Technically lead transformational Cloud initiatives;Support team members in all Cloud and on-premise based activities as and when required.About you:We're looking for someone who can step into this role and really make it their own.
Someone who will voice their innovative ideas and has excellent thought leadership skills.

The key skills and competencies we are seeking in the successful candidate include: Extensive experience in a similar capacity delivering projects and supporting Azure and AWS;Hands-on experience provisioning and supporting cloud load balancers, app gateways, security groups, storage accounts, cloud databases and VNET/VPC configuration;Scripting experience (Python or similar);Strong background in traditional Microsoft environment (AD, AAD and Group Policy).What we offer:In return, we offer flexible work arrangements, an allocation of $1 movie tickets, Gold Class discounts, food and beverage discounts, health & well-being initiatives, as well as regular fun social events.
