Some of the key specifications we attribute to the purpose include:Track actual costs against budgeted figures and analyze variancesPrepare regular cost reports, forecasts, and financial summaries for stakeholdersDevelop and implement cost control procedures to monitor and manage project expensesUnderstanding and knowledge of cost control systems like EcoSys, Prism etc.Establish and maintain project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial goalsCollaborate with project managers and finance teams to optimize cost efficiencyIdentify cost-saving opportunities and recommend corrective actionsMonitor and control project expenditures, ensuring adherence to approved budgetsLead the preparation of cost estimates and support bid proposalsEnsure compliance with financial regulations and project contract requirementsDevelop and implement Earned Value Management (EVM) systems to track project performanceAnalyse project data to calculate EVM metricsPrepare reports based on EVM metrics to provide insights into project progress and performanceMust be an Australian Citizen and able to work in Adelaide.10+ years of experience with a minimum of 5+ years working in a Cost Control/Project Controls role.Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.Strong knowledge of Cost Control and Project Controls.Experience working in the infrastructure (marine, shipyards, civil) and the Defence sector.Experience of managing multiple concurrent projects at various stages of delivery.Experience operating at various stages in the project lifecycle.Strong stakeholder management skills including coordination and communication.Self-motivated team player with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.Our inspired people share our vision and mission.
