About the RoleThe Jacobs Planning and Environmental Approvals team delivers complex and technically challenging local and national projects for clients involved in a wide range of infrastructure and development activities, including:
State and national public utilitiesRenewable energy projectsTransport infrastructureResources and energy projectsLarge-scale environmental management programsWe are seeking to appoint an Environmental Planner to our Melbourne based Planning and Environmental Approvals team as we continue to build our national practice.
This role will support the technical delivery and project management of projects within our Melbourne team.
Primary ResponsibilitiesPrimary responsibilities will include:
Undertaking technical assessments to support the delivery of a range of projects, working collaboratively with a range of disciplinesUndertaking planning assessments, including desktop assessment, site visits and reporting, as requiredAssisting with writing proposalsHere's What You'll NeedTertiary qualification in planning, environmental science or other relevant degree is essentialDemonstrated success in preparing planning applicationsAn interest in infrastructureAbility to work individually and as part of a wider collaborative teamBusiness acumenExcellent presentation and verbal communication skillsExcellent report writing abilitiesJacobs.
