Their focus is on maximizing the value and opportunities from Suncorp's investment in critical products and services.This role requires a strong commercial mindset and the ability to foster accountability, discipline, and consistency within the Supplier Partnering team.
The Portfolio Commercial Leader ensures that Strategic Partners deliver high-quality services and adhere to agreed-upon standards, driving both performance and partnership growth.What you'll doManage commercial matters with Strategic Partners & IT Strategic Suppliers, including rate/cost negotiations, disputes, and contracted deliverablesResolve supplier disputes and work with the Suncorp business stakeholders to address supplier performance and governance issues, coordinating improvement plans when necessaryTrack supplier performance, service levels, metrics, and performance incentive poolsContribute to the strategy for Strategic Partners & IT Strategic Suppliers demand management, including the ability to forecast demand and utilize supplier capacityDevelop sourcing approaches aligned with the Suncorp business stakeholders' strategy, ensuring competitive tension across strategic partnersAct as an account manager ITO Strategic Partners & IT Strategic Suppliers, driving continuous improvement by managing performance and service improvementWhat you'll bring5-10 years of experience working with the Procurement and Vendor management of Outsource or Strategic Vendors.Strong relationship skills and ability to develop and lead leadersProven capability in contributing to the strategic direction of a departmentVendor management, including the management of outsource service suppliersA proven ability to manage across broad teams and business areas, ensuring effective delivery of multiple projects simultaneouslyWhat we can offerA range of flexible working and leave options, including 20 weeks paid parental leave, 4 weeks paid secondary carer parental leave and unlimited paid emergency response leaveDiscounts and offers on a range of retail favourite stores as well as insurance productsGive back to our communities with payroll giving, donation matching and paid volunteer leaveInvest in your brighter future with ongoing study support and career development programsPrioritise your work/life balance with our robust employee assistance program and dedicated employee councilAt Suncorp we believe we are our best when our workforce is as diverse, talented and passionate as the communities in which we live and operate, and where our people feel included, valued and connected.
