Skilled Laborers for Sydney Water Maintenance Randstad is currently seeking multiple Skilled Laborers to work for a national client engaged in a variety of maintenance work for Sydney Water across multiple sites.
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering consistent, ongoing employment with ample overtime possibilities.
Start Date: ImmediateEmployment Type: Temp to PermLocation: Port Kembla with travel to various sites around Wollongong Area
Qualifications Mandatory: Valid Working at Heights Ticket within 2 yearsValid White CardHighly Regarded: MR/HR Truck Drivers License DesiredCurrent First Aid CertificationResponsibilities Workers will be involved in various tasks related to maintaining Sydney Water assets, receiving training across different sections including:
Silt and DebrisClean UpProject-based workAssets include: PipesEffluent cleanupStormwaterAdditional training and tickets will be provided as workers progress through different areas. Key Duties (Section Dependent) Completing pre-start checks of trucks, vehicles, and equipmentOperating vehicles/trucks and driving to and from sitesPerforming manual handling tasksFeeding rods and camera snakes through pipesUnreeling, lifting, moving, and using high-pressure jet hosesEmptying wet wellsSetting up and using gas monitoring equipmentUsing Working at Height harnessWorking in confined spacesSet up/pack down jobs/equipmentPotential for remote work/working away from homeWork Schedule Pay Rate: $36 - 37.50 per hour + overtime at penalty ratesShift: Day shift, 10 hours, starting at 6 amStarting Point: Port KemblaTravel: In company vehicle to various sites around SydneyApplication Process If you are interested in this role, please apply now.
