Project Delivery Manager

We are currently on the hunt for a Project Delivery Manager for our niche client, which operates in the commercial and residential car parking industry.
The product is world leading and the team are pretty good too
Based at Port Melbourne, and spending time between the office and regional or interstate projects, the role of Project Delivery Manager manages all aspects of project delivery after the sale, up to and including customer handover.
Naturally, delivering on time and to budget are essential as is delivering class leading customer service.
In a competitive market, professionalism, integrity, as well as tenacity will see you succeed.
Repeated success will come from having a deep understanding of the construction industry, and the ability to maintain highly effective project controls across multiple projects, (both on site and remotely).
As a valued and impactful member of a motivated team, you will be responsible for modelling up client expectations in preparation for the after-sales support team hence contributing to the success of the greater team.
This is certainly a growth opportunity and will see you working across small, medium and larger projects as you progress, both on a local and national level, hence travel will be involved.
If you are a Project Delivery Manager who possesses the following, you need to consider this opportunity:
A degree in building / engineeringCertification in mainstream Project Management Methodology (highly favourable)At least 10 years of progressive responsibility in construction of either vertical or horizontal structures5 plus years of proven experience as a Project Delivery Manager with exposure to high-risk environmentsKnowledge of various project management methodologies, tools and softwareStrong organisation skills and exceptional attention to detailExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalEffective problem-solving ability with an adaptable and proactive approachStrong interpersonal skills enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholdersFamiliarity with industry specific regulations and best practiceThe successful individual will be: An experienced Project Delivery Manager from the construction or associated industry (elevators, lifts, vertical products)Possess experience in managing or coordinating multiple trades teams/functions (including budgets and costings)NB: A strong package will be offered to the right candidate including tools of trade and a fully maintained work van.
