Spring Hill Specialist Day Hospital (SHSDH) is a member of Virtus Specialist Day Hospitals and is a leading provider of Day Hospital and Operating Theatre services, designed to provide the best possible environment for patients and their surgeons.
Virtus Specialist Day Hospitals form a network of day hospitals across the east coast of Australia extending into NSW, Queensland, Victoria, and Tasmania.
Spring Hill Specialist Day Hospital is located in Boundary Street Spring Hill.
Our new facility boasts 3 state-of-the-art operating rooms, a high standard of accommodation for our patients, and staff amenities for the team at SHSDH.
Our service supports specialties of IVF, gynaecology, laparoscopic procedures, endoscopy, plastic surgery, oral surgery, and urology.
About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced Perioperative Nurse, with an endoscopy background and preferably with educator experience, to join our friendly team as a Clinical Nurse.
You will need to have advanced patient care skills with a strong focus on delivering outstanding customer service to our patients and doctors.
We are looking for someone with exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
The role is permanent Full Time, over 5 days a week, Monday to Friday.

The candidate will be adaptable to varying start and finish times to support the management team and the business.
Current APHRA registration as a registered nurseMinimum 3 years' experience as an Endoscopy/Perioperative nurseAbility to work well within a multidisciplinary team and as a leader.Strong and effective customer service skillsAbility to troubleshoot and coordinate the day-to-day.Highly developed interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skillsDesired capabilities Previous experience as a Clinical Nurse with education qualification/experienceEducator qualification (Cert 4 TAE) would be favourable.Postgraduate qualification in Perioperative or Management, Proven Management experience/Leadership experience.Experience in our other specialties.If you are interested in this role and would like to know more, please contact us.
