The Hammond Care Volunteer program is a great way for you to make a meaningful difference in the life of an older person in Hunter NSW.
As a Volunteer Social Visitor, you will provide companionship and meaningful social interaction for older people living in your community.
We're looking for caring individuals who can sit and have a chat, reminisce, and talk about topics of interest with elderly people in their own homes.
Regular visits from volunteers can help improve quality of life and reduce feelings of isolation.
Your impact Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience for both you and the person you visit.
Your visits will bring great joy to the clients you are matched with.
Hammond Care Hammond Care is passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need.
We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of our clients.

Requirements 18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged • We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one-hour visit between 9 am and 4 pm, Monday to Sunday.
Visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
