The Opportunity

We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer to join us in our Infrastructure Development team in Melbourne, Victoria or Brisbane, Queensland on a permanent full-time basis.
Reporting to the Team Lead - E&I Engineering, you will be an expert in engineering projects and disciplines, who applies advanced knowledge and skills in engineering principles, methods, and tools, solves complex technical problems and delivers high-quality specialist solutions, and communicates effectively with various stakeholders and disciplines.
The Senior E&I Engineer also conducts research, develops new technologies, or contributes to the improvement and standardisation of engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities Lead and manage engineering projects and programs in various domains and contexts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Solve complex technical problems and deliver high-quality specialist solutions, using innovation, creativity, and change management skills.
Communicate effectively and collaboratively with various audiences and disciplines, using appropriate verbal, written, and visual methods and tools.
Demonstrate ethical and professional conduct, and adhere to relevant standards, codes, and regulations in engineering practice.
Ability to fulfill a coaching role and be an effective member of a multi-disciplinary project team.
Your background Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering admitting to corporate membership of the Institution of Engineers, Australia or equivalent.
Relevant experience in the design, construction, operation or maintenance of gas transmission, gas processing, LNG, chemical process power generation, utilities or associated industries.
Knowledge of relevant statutory requirements, Australian and international codes and standards.
Solid working knowledge with detailed engineering design of electrical, Instrumentation and facilities to AS3000, AS60079, AS1768, AS4853 and other relevant standards.
