CBB is looking for a skilled robot welder/programmer to join our fabrication team producing heavy vehicles for the tipping industry using state-of-the-art robotic equipment.
Hours: 7:30am - 4pmStudying drawings and specifications to determine job requirements.Welding using GMAW processes.Sets up welding robots to weld aluminum and steel as per drawing.Modifying welding programs and welding settings according to material thickness and type of material (steel and aluminum).Programming welding robot for new parts.Performing maintenance and setting in order all the robot welding jigs which are required for welding parts.Assisting maintenance personnel with any information required to ensure the robots are maintained in good operational condition.Complete jobs on-time and to the required quality standards with limited supervision.Ensure your work area is clean and free from hazards.Be involved in resolution of production issues with supervision/management.Partake and assist in Company training and development.Undertake other duties within employees' capabilities as requested by Supervisor.Operate flexibly between work areas.Understand and apply inventory control.Work as part of a team.Perform work as per the job sheets.Ensure work is completed to the required quality standard.Ensure work is conducted in a safe manner.Skills and Experience: Experience in welding aluminum or steel.Skilled in their trade and have extensive fabrication experience.Experience using robotic welding cells.Experience programming robotic welders from touch teach and offline programming.Extensive experience in GMAW welding processes, reading engineering drawings, and welding symbols.Strong adherence to OH&S and in keeping a safe workplace.Self-motivated and able to work independently as required.For more information on the company visit our website: www.chrisbodybuilders.com.au.
