Our client is seeking for an experienced Project Manager – Cyber/Infrastructure; you'll join a dynamic team finding innovative solutions which directly contribute to positive community outcomes.
The successful candidate will assist in managing project timelines, coordinating team activities, and ensuring effective communication between stakeholders.
What you will be doing? The primary responsibility of the Project Manager – Cyber is to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects - particularly around Cyber in Local Government.
This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve project goals and drive continuous improvement.
They may alternatively be responsible for the delivery of a work package within a more complex Project or Program under the governance of a Project or Program Manager.
Manages and leads people in the delivery of the work package or project stage in partnership with the customer and business unit to ensure acceptance, close and handover to service.Support the PMO Manager in the establishment of portfolio and project management frameworks, artefacts, processes and systems.Preparing data and reports (governance, status and health, others as requested) with project managers, the PMO team and project stakeholders with an understanding of the different needs of each.Manage projects from initiation through to closure.Manage the preparation of project cost estimates.Monitor benefits against what was predicted in the business case.Engage, inform and negotiate with stakeholders.Manage vendors to deliver solutions.Risk and issue management.Must have experience in: Experienced Cyber project experience and working closely with business units such as Risk, Information Security and Data.Experienced with cyber policies, procedures, standards and uplifts.Experience in leading projects and/or delivery of solution planning, development and delivery of projects with multiple streams to budget, time and quality standards.Leading, managing and motivating multi-disciplinary project delivery team, consisting of both internal and external (contractors and vendors) to achieve outstanding results.Managing financial and performance analysis with extensive project reporting.Leading the development and application of best practice project management approaches and methodologies, as well as mentoring less experienced team members.To Apply: Must be AU Citizen.Brisbane based role.If this looks like a role which you would like to be considered for, I would love to hear from you.
