We're seeking an experienced Electrician to join our Team in a permanent full-time role.
Our ideal candidate will have a systematic approach to work.
You will be self-motivated, eager to learn, and keen to join a team where communication is a key focus.
Scenic World holds many amazing events & out of hours rides (e.g., Beyond Skyway and Nocturnal).
Part of our Electrician role is the expectation that you will be available to work on occasion during these events, which may at times fall outside of your general working hours, for which you will also be paid accordingly
Duties will include:
Daily testing and inspections & nightly closure of our rides.Supervision of drive performance, recovery, repair & reset of rides.Carry out scheduled maintenance and inspections.Carry out installation and testing of electrical devices and services.Carry out installation, inspection, testing, maintenance & repair of building or property services & other site equipment.Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with current WHS legislation and in line with Scenic World policies and procedures.To be successful in this role, you will possess and demonstrate:
2 or more years' experience in an electrical trade role.Tertiary qualification in an electrical trade & hold a valid electrical licence.Driver's licence (Class 1A).Experience in working at heights; a working at heights ticket is desirable, however not compulsory as training can be provided.Experience in industrial maintenance.Electrical experience with amusement rides or attractions is advantageous, however not compulsory.We would love to hear from people with attention to detail, fantastic communication skills, and the ability to problem solve on the go.
Scenic World operates every day of the year.
Our roster covers weekends and public holidays.
