Job Description The Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity to join Fugro as we are in a stage of growth, and as a result have a brand-new opening for a Land Field Technician - Geotechnical/Geophysical.
This role is primarily responsible for working with our project team in the field but will also be learning from and supporting our project manager in the office with required tasks throughout the project lifecycle.
Field deployments will depend on the project and may vary from a few days up to three weeks at a time to various locations within Australia, plus international travel for training to learn from world class experts in their field.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Providing onsite assistance to ensure various equipment is moved, set up and maintained to meet project requirements;Fieldwork to assist data acquisition as required, including deploying geo phones, helping with borehole drilling, load testing, pile testing, seismic refraction, structural health monitoring etc;Supporting colleagues with data capture on laptop and securely sending data to processing team;Assisting the project manager with proposals and project coordination tasks in the office;Proactively supporting the overall team in any way to meet department and project objectives.As our service line continues to expand, there will be opportunities for this role to grow and evolve, in line with company requirements and your unique skillset and career aspiration.

The successful candidate will have:
