BGU JV brings together partners CPB Contractors, BAM, Ghella and UGL to deliver the Tunnels and Stations package for Brisbane's Cross River Rail.
Cross River Rail is a 10.2-kilometre rail line between Dutton Park and Bowen Hills, including 5.9 kilometres of tunnel under the Brisbane River and CBD.
The project also includes construction of four new high-capacity underground stations at Boggo Road, Woolloongabba, Albert Street and Roma Street.
One project team, building career opportunities for you. Reporting to the Site Manager, this role sits within one of our project delivery teams based at an inner Brisbane site.
You will be responsible for coordinating direct workforce and subcontractor teams to achieve quality and safety objectives in accordance with the project programme and schedule.
We are seeking previous experience in a Supervisor or Foreman capacity on large civil or infrastructure projects.
You will be responsible for: Effectively coordinating and supervising the utilisation of on-site resources Monitoring construction progress and compliance to safety and environmental standards Ensuring all operations are performed in accordance with agreed safe methods of work Forward planning daily/weekly/monthly construction work including resource requirements and trade coordination Ensuring all workers are inducted onto site before commencing work Minimum requirements for this role include the following: Trade qualifications in a relevant discipline (Electrical) Experience in delivering large scale civil projects in a Supervisor or Foreman capacity Strong leadership, team building and stakeholder management skills Ability to apply principles of construction to deliver works in accordance with project requirements Demonstrated personal commitment to safety requirements and expectations At CBGU JV, we are committed to workplace diversity and to providing flexible work opportunities on our project.
