Your opportunity: The Finance Manager will be responsible for providing insightful advice and analysis to the division on the impact of strategic and operational business affairs, as well as leading and facilitating projects and activities on behalf of the Finance Team, focused on continual improvement.
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the primary focus of this role will be to drive company value across the respective divisions.
This will be achieved through the provision of business insights and analysis, assisting in the delivery of our organisational strategies, plans and budgets to meet growth and profitability objectives.
You'll make impact by: Manage transmission 3rd party cost to align with contractual agreements, challenge and analyse variances to drive business benefit.
Manage capex and operating support expenditures for Transmission, Fixed Access and Enterprise domains.
Liaise closely and regularly with transmission business to get the update of changes from evolving operation and initiatives, analyse the impact to budget and forecast, track opportunities and risk and identify solution for mitigation.
Work with the Commercial team to provide analytical inputs supported by relevant financial and non-financial data for decisions making, support business making contract variation decisions.
Conduct month-end activities that support the accurate reporting of the business performance and underlying expenditure.
Prepare annual budget from bottom-up cost drivers and update ongoing forecast.
Prepare and review capital investment proposals to ensure business case integrity and robustness.
Provide the divisional leadership teams and Financial Reporting team with effective monthly reporting on actual spend and update forecasts monthly to reflect the latest commercial positions, ensure risks to budget are highlighted and recommend plans to address any budget gaps.
What you'll bring: Finance qualified with CPA/CIMA/CA/MBA or equivalent is preferred.
Strong analytical skills for detailed insight analysis.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong Excel and modelling skills.
PowerPoint and presentation skills.
Strong team player and ability to work independently.
