Senior Manager - Business Development & Event Support Melbourne Permanent / Full Time 7/1/2025 Full time ongoing position (part-time considered) based in Notting Hill Salary range: $90,000 - $100,000 plus super plus salary packaging Up to $15,900 in salary packaging About the role St John Ambulance Victoria are seeking an experienced Senior Manager – Business Development & Event Support who will be responsible for driving new business opportunities in all aspects of the events sector in Melbourne and Victoria within our Volunteer & Event Health Services (VEHS) with a focus on community, major events & venues.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing and guiding the business development & event support team, focusing on revenue generation, cost management, and general business deliverables.
You will provide managerial support to the team while promoting inclusiveness and respect.
As our ideal candidate, you will possess: Extensive experience in sales and/or major account management within a customer service or service delivery environment, preferably within the event, hospitality, or service sectors Demonstrated experience managing and nurturing teams Strong commercial acumen, account management, consultative selling, and negotiation skills Advanced financial literacy and business acumen Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills Ability to recommend improvements to positions or services provided Excellent communication & presentation skills Full driver's license About St John Ambulance Victoria St John Ambulance (Vic) has been saving lives and delivering care and compassion throughout Victoria for 140 years.
