Fyfe is a multi-disciplinary consultancy providing comprehensive engineering, environmental, planning and surveying services throughout Australia. Fyfe works with a wide range of clients in the Property & Infrastructure and Energy & Resources sectors to provide high quality, commercially pragmatic solutions with a strong focus on client service and delivery.Our Energy and Resources Engineering Division delivers specialist mining, energy, hydrogen and renewable energy projects across the country. These include process plant modifications, upstream flowlines, well leases, network gathering systems, major gas transmission pipelines, above ground processing facilities, as well as hydrogen and renewable energy facilities.The Opportunity:We are currently looking for a Senior Piping Designer, or a desire to move into a senior role, to join our team to work on project portfolios across the energy and resources sectors. This role will be based in Brisbane, and you will work in a team of experienced designers supporting the business and delivering on a range of projects.The Responsibilities:This is a senior position that requires an energetic team player who can lead projects, consult with clients, and mentor junior team members. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and exceed client expectations.Skills & ExperienceIn this role you will be part of a design office responsible for delivering a wide range of projects using 2D and 3D software packages. You will have strong communication skills, evidence of design experience within the oil and gas and/or mining industries, and be adaptable to a fast-paced engineering office environment. Projects include pipelines, piping, pump stations, facilities, and skid-based equipment. There is also an opportunity to work on electrical and structural engineering designs.RequirementsA team playerStrong work ethic and aptitude to learnGood communication and interpersonal skillsSound knowledge using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office SoftwareExperience with Plant3D and SmartPlant is desiredUnderstanding of P&ID, Orthographic and Isometric drawingsExperience working with point cloud using Autodesk ReCap is an advantageA strong commitment to client satisfaction and quality of workExposure to the Oil and Gas Industry is desirableCulture:Fyfe values our clients and our people and has a culture built on respect, integrity and the delivery of value.
