We have an exciting opportunity for a Rooms Controller to join our team at Australia's largest hotel.
Located adjacent to Darling Harbour in Sydney's Central Business District (CBD), Hyatt Regency Sydney is a haven of relaxation for the business or leisure traveller. As Sydney's largest premium hotel, the hotel boasts 878 guestrooms, multiple dining experiences and event spaces. The hotel offers more than 3,700 sq m of sleek meeting and event space in the heart of the city featuring two spacious ballrooms with views of Darling Harbour and 22 additional meeting rooms.

In this key role, you will be responsible for supporting our front-line, guest-facing team. Interrupting and actioning reports, you will work cohesively with the Housekeeping, In Room Dining, and Engineering departments to ensure a high 5-star service standard is maintained. This is an ideal role for a Guest Service Agent or experienced Front Office Attendant, looking for their next career step.
Our ideal candidate will possess: A desire to create memorable experiences for our guests through care and empathyAt least one year's experience as a Guest Service Agent, preferably in a high volume environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience working with OPERA PMSAn eye for detail and accuracyThe availability to work a rotating, 7-day rosterResponsibilities Include: Participating and reviewing the daily handover for the Rooms DivisionLoading and lodging maintenance into HOTSOSReading, prioritising and actioning emailsReviewing and understanding, in-house, arrival and departure reports and actioning requestsUpdating VIP status and guest profile notesAssigning and allocating rooms and suites based on business needs and guest requests
